To promote psychology as a science, a profession and a means of improving the well-being, mental health and education of people and to consolidate the creativity and inspiration that psychology brings to the world.

Our goal
The main purpose of the Organization is to exercise and protect constitutional rights and freedoms, to satisfy and protect the legitimate common interests of the members of the Organization
and freedoms, satisfaction and protection of the legitimate common interests of the members of the Organization, promotion of psychological education and psychological culture in society, promotion of professional communication, development
and popularisation of psychology and psychotherapy, professional development
and raising the level of psychological training of psychologists and workers
and social workers.
AREAS OF ACTIVITY OF THE ORGANIZATION
Areas of activity of the Organization:

development and popularisation of psychology, psychotherapy, psychosocial and psycho-correctional assistance, medical and pedagogical correction

development and implementation of programmes for the professional development of psychologists;

development of infrastructure and material and technical base for psychologists' professional development;
-
assistance in the provision of psychological services;

facilitating the establishment and development of partnerships and professional communication, coordination of interaction between psychologists working in different professional fields;

development, support and implementation of projects and programmes aimed at developing psychological education and psychological culture of the population;
-
facilitating the provision of information, methodological and practical assistance to psychologists in their professional activities;

promoting the level and quality of psychological training of psychologists;

promotion of work on improvement of methods, methodological tools, practical psychological techniques, procedures of work of psychologists-practitioners;

participation in providing psychological support for international, national and regional projects and programmes;
-
promoting the professional growth of practicing psychologists, including members of the Organisation. Establishment of information exchange, provision of advisory, expert and other necessary services to members of the Organization;

Participation in the research and development of social, psychological and educational programmes;

Assistance in resolving issues of employment, additional training and retraining, certification of psychologists and social workers;

submitting proposals to public authorities and management bodies;

Interaction with other public associations, concluding agreements on cooperation and mutual assistance with them;

promoting the development of psychological literacy of the population through media appearances, publications, and lectures;

In its activities, the Organization shall be guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, the Civil Code of Ukraine, the Tax Code of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Public Associations", the Law of Ukraine "On State Registration of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organisations", other applicable laws of Ukraine and this Charter. The legal basis for the activities of the Organisation shall also be the regulatory documents and general decisions adopted by the Organisation within their statutory powers and binding on all members.
